Natural baroque freshwater pearl on recycled transparent cord with hallmarked recycled sterling silver extendable clasp. At Astolos we create beautiful ethical and eco friendly jewellery whilst giving back to charities and communities.

Astolos is all about giving quality back. All resources used are recycled as much as possible (we are trying to improve this) and all are recyclable. We are a zero-waste company. Astolos means precious stone in Latin, our earth, our community, our health is as unique as our jewellery. These things need to be treasured.
High quality, fine jewellery should not be out of anyone’s reach. We have purposely set high street prices to encourage people to move away from disposable fashion into sustainable jewellery that can be passed down to the next generation or recycled.
The jewellery is partly made by people who are out of work due to mental or physical health reasons. We have set up a scheme to allow people to gently work from home in a no-pressure environment, as and when they feel up to it. Being the stepping stone from not working to carefully trying out the workplace again. We build a community with our colleagues and create a supportive space where they can talk openly about anything.
Twenty percent of the profit of each sale goes to Mind, a mental health charity, which aims to help anyone in the UK in need of support. Recent projects have focussed on supporting people who have been negatively affected by the Covid pandemic.
Astolos' business model is to use innovation to look after more than just profit line. We are not perfect and will never have everything figured out but we are open and trying. We are calling for businesses to look after their community and environment as well as profit lines.
Please join us in trying to improve the status quo.
