Wildflower seed cards can be a beautiful reminder of loved ones.
Now more than ever we are aware of the impact modern farming methods are having on the bee population. Our natural wild flower meadows have decreased dramatically in number, meaning there is less food for the bees. By planting wild flowers, we can help provide food for bees (and butterflies!).
How do I plant seed cards?
It’s easy to plant the seeds. All you need to do is tear the card into pieces and soak well in water. Plant the paper under 1cm of soil and keep well watered. Place somewhere sunny in your home and wait for the seeds to start shooting. They can then be transferred outside in the spring or autumn.
The seed card size is A6 which is 6″ x 4″. It is made from quality wild flower seed card and comes with a recycled envelope in a clear compostable bag made from corn starch.
I feel it’s important to take pleasure in our surroundings and be more aware of the beauty around us; to be more mindful of ourselves and of others. I also understand how challenging it is to be kind to ourselves and to remember that self-care is just as important as looking after others. I aim to create pieces filled with positivity and peace.
