Seed paper card
Mini card made from seed card. I have designed this to be completely zero waste. The heart or flower is made from nettle yarn so can be removed and hung in your wardrobe. Left blank for you to writer your own message.
This lovely card is made using seed card and a fair-trade organic nettle yarn heart or flower hanging on the front.
I have designed it to be completely zero waste.
On the front is a small hanging heart or flower, this is made from nettle yarn which is a natural moth repellant so when you have enjoyed it as a card it can be hung on a hanger in your wardrobe.
The nettle yarn comes from a lovely company called yarn yarn which supports a woman’s cooperative in India and is organic and fairtrade. It is also compostable.
Advice from the seed card company for the card; Each card includes Sweet Alyssum, Poppy, Baby’s Breath & Basil. These are non-invasive species that are commonly found in the wild and in garden shops. They can be grown in pots and left outside for bees and other pollinators but we do not recommend disturbing nature by planting in the wild.
Recommended planting time – Spring/Summer
Soak in water and tear into small pieces.
Place pieces in a pot of compost and lightly sprinkle more compost on top
Keep the soil and paper moist (but not soaking wet) in a warm and light environment
Once your small plants have grown, place pot outside or keep on a window that has lots of sun.
Do not plant in the wild.
It will come with a recycled craft brown envelope.
I send my products in recycled packaging . The price includes free second class postage.

Hi My name is Lindsay, I became ill with M.E 10 years ago. I was a busy person and found it difficult having no purpose. I learnt how to crochet and love it. In the last few years I am trying to be more environmentally friendly in my business; with the products I make, the yarn I use and my packaging is all recycled or I re use packaging that things have been sent in. Also with my crafting I am trying to give back, a lot of my products have specific charities I donate to and I donate 10% of other products to the M.E Association. Thank you for reading my story and looking at my products. Lindsay xxI
