Thinking of you card to let your loved ones and friends know you are in their thoughts.
In this day and age it is easy to forget the simple pleasure of an unexpected card arriving in the post. It has the power to brighten someone’s day, and to remind them that they are loved and thought of.
I feel it’s important to take pleasure in our surroundings and be more aware of the beauty around us; to be more mindful of ourselves and of others. I also understand how challenging it is to be kind to ourselves and to remember that self-care is just as important as looking after others. I aim to create pieces filled with positivity and peace.
This listing is for a unique card that has been hand drawn and designed by myself.
Card size is 5″ x 5″. It is made from good quality black card and comes with a white envelope.

Hazel Dawn Illustrations was born from life experience. Learning the importance of kindness to others, and to ourselves.
My art journey started at school and was put on pause after completing my foundation degree in fine art.
I found myself working in the care industry, first as a carer to those who needed help in their own homes, and eventually as line manager / care coordinator after completing my level 3 diploma in health & social care. This opened my eyes to how vulnerable others can be and how a simple act of kindness can make someone's day. Such a rewarding job.
Living with chronic health conditions myself, I was unable to continue working. Digging out my art supplies gave me purpose and hope, and allowed me to be kind to myself, and put smiles on others faces. I wanted to create feel good pieces that bring joy to others.
