This inspirational positive postcards gift set is printed from my own original artwork. Each design was lovingly hand-drawn and then printed to create motivational postcards.
In this day and age it is easy to forget the simple pleasure of an unexpected card arriving in the post. It has the power to brighten someone’s day, and to remind them that they are loved and thought of. Mental health awareness is increasing all the time, and I’ve tried to choose quotes that will encourage and inspire.
Each card is A6 in size and made from 300gsm thick quality card.
Although these are advertised as postcards, the card quality is higher than of a standard print, and I love that many customers frame these to decorate their homes or to send on as gifts.

Hazel Dawn Illustrations was born from life experience. Learning the importance of kindness to others, and to ourselves.
My art journey started at school and was put on pause after completing my foundation degree in fine art.
I found myself working in the care industry, first as a carer to those who needed help in their own homes, and eventually as line manager / care coordinator after completing my level 3 diploma in health & social care. This opened my eyes to how vulnerable others can be and how a simple act of kindness can make someone's day. Such a rewarding job.
Living with chronic health conditions myself, I was unable to continue working. Digging out my art supplies gave me purpose and hope, and allowed me to be kind to myself, and put smiles on others faces. I wanted to create feel good pieces that bring joy to others.
